Arbitration

The first step in some Lemon Law cases is going to arbitration.

If arbitration doesn't provide the solution, we may be able to help you file your lawsuit.

Filing a Lemon Law Suit

If this is the course you decide to take, we'll need to hold a free initial consultation with you (if we haven't already been working with you during arbitration).

Information We Will Need for an Initial Evaluation
Quite simply, all documents showing anything about your vehicle: correspondence, purchase agreements, lease agreements, warranties, sales receipts, repair orders, technical service bulletins, and anything else that talks about the purchase of your vehicle and subsequent repair problems.

How We Can Help
We have a lot of experience in this area of the law. Todd Gadtke has experience defending lemon law cases on behalf of the manufacturer. He now represents only consumers. We have helped many consumers rid themselves of problem vehicles.

What Might You Be Entitled to Receive?

Under Minnesota's Lemon Law, a successful case will require the manufacturer to: provide a replacement vehicle comparable to your current motor vehicle OR grant you a full refund of monies paid for the vehicle, less a reasonable use allowance (generally $.10 per mile driven when the vehicle was not impaired or 10% of the purchase price, whichever is less).

A successful consumer is also entitled to legal fees and litigation costs.
